thanks to all who gave some suggestion. but iam just tired of fooling with the car and now since Ben had point some out to me about the timing i guest i screwed up and may have cause the the porblem that i am having with pressure build up in the plenum may have some bent intake valves. the way i did the timing was rotated the crank 360 degrees set #1 pistion tdc set right bank cams flats up intalled lock tool to make sure they was flat i then loosen cam gears for the left bank and rotated the crank 180degrees set left bank cams up and installed lock to make sur the was flat ithen installed timing belt and everything else and started car car ran for at lease 5 -6 mnths u would think that the car would not run at all the way i seen and the i did it first by the instuctions on this site set both bank cams up the same with #1 at tdc even after u rotated 360 degrees for the second time to me and from what i seen with my own eyes put both banks with #1 piston tdc had the 4 cams flats up not 180 degrees out now can some one tell me what did i do wrong ? and why woud the eng run that way for so long? , this car had tons of power also until now. i will read more on the timing instructions and was worndering if any body else came across this when doing their timing belt ?

RE: well today i sent it to the shop
OK, you have a 94' GTP. I have a 94' GTP. This is what I have done, about 5 times now. Works great.
Here's how it should be. All cam bolts loose. Number one bank flats up, and TDC. Lock flats, tighten number one bank cams. Remove hold down tool, and install on opposite cams, flats up. Then rotate crank 360, and tighten cam bolts. Then you are done.
Why, did it run?... Who knows?... Who cares?... The moral of the story is, it was wrong.
Don't think you have bent valves, because this is a non-interferance motor.

OK, I read the timing walk through. I think It is fucked, was that set up for 91-93 or something. Because, the finished product is supposed to be one set of flats up and one set down. Not both up, maybe I was reading it wrong.
It sounds like buddy screwed up (for sure) the first try. Then followed the site directions (properly), and screwed up again.
Does anybody have access to Mitchells on demand? Check what the instruction are for all different years, to see for discrepencies.

i dont like mitchells on demand for the timing, its not in depth enough, anyways, the timing procedure is pretty much the exact same for all years, the only difference is the lock rings on the earilier ones.

RE: well today i sent it to the shop
my thoughts exactly. i haven't messed with 91-93's but as long as there are 2 flats up in one bank and 2 flats down in the other on tdc i think all would be fine.
only trick about the whole procedure is getting those gears to let go. so for u lucky few i will tell u how. it can be done with one person but can go faster with 2.
1 person puts load on the gears by partially rotating the drive gear(assuming the timing belt assy is in place). and another person simply taps the gears with a plastic/rubber hammer and they will succumb to your will.
that shit took me like an hour to figure out and alot of penetrating oil wasted. consider yourselves blessed .The Official Rotating Mass Nazi
