i did timing belt on my car a few months back and i did the timing the way that its stated in this site . i have 94 gtp 3.4 . set #1 piston tdc locked cams down with flats up for right bank rotated crank 180 degrees back to tdc 1# piston and set left bank cams with flats up and locked down. this is down with using #1 piston at tdc. now the question is should i have set #1 piston at tdc for right bank and set left bank cams with #4 piston at tdc ? this gtp is an automatic. and this was done with belt off. i am thinking my timing is off slightly seem to have a dead spot from 55 mph to hard accelaration at about 3500 -4000 rpm

When 1 is at TDC compression, 4 is at TDC exhaust. So rotating the engine 360 degrees would get 4 at TDC compression. Other than that, what you posted agreed with the procedure on the site.92 Lumina Z34
Found coolant in the oil and metal in the filter.
Also found a home in the engine compartment for a turbo and intercooler
