this has always been an issue with my car since i got it. but i haven't worried about it until now. i plan on moving soon and i think good brakes are necessary for driving, especially on the nj turnpike.
man, i am surprised more nascar drivers don't come from jersey. i was on there a week ago on the way to picking out a place and it felt like i was in the daytona 500 or something. look at me, i am deviating off my own thread
my 94 has the what i consider fairly large rotors but i have had a 78 t/a using rear drums and about 4k+ lbs that stops better than my lumi.
i am obviously not a brake tech i have new pads on it and my left front rotor is cracked but i don't think it will affect the stopping power that much.
i need the help of the community for 2 things here: 1 crank me out some suggestions. i have a set of used 94 rotors on hand now and will replace them when my car returns from the shop. and 2 it has always felt like there was air in the lines. and when i was messing around in the engine bay i noticed bleeder valves on the abs controller/master cylinder too. i have always just used the valves at the calipers.
to the point what is the procedure for these valves? same as others pump them up and bleed and repeat vigorously? and would i bleed there be4 or after the calipers?
