Exxon Valdeez Z34 more oil leak questions

Hi Im wondering how many of you changed the gasket on the oil manifold while you were doing something about the O ring ? I pulled the intakes yesterday there was a deep puddle of oil all along the top of the block under the heads on both sides. Is the oil manifold usally leak ? does oil return from the heads past the lower intake gaskets ? motor ran fine but gaskets were crap i guess im having trouble picturing oil from the O ring laying next to the power steering pump

I changed mine, but if the O-ring is leaking, the whole top of the block will be covered with oil

Why the hell not change it if you got it apart? Im pretty sure mine was leaking when I tore the heads off to replace the head gaskets. You betcha I replaced every gasket I could.No leaks in 9 months(fingers crossed)

i have a 93 z34, the oil is leaking right on top of my alternator, how much is it to get the leak fixed???
