ok i was wondering what the easest way to replace the starter on the dohc is.... i put one in it before when i had the trans out.. but of course it was easy then cuz the subframe was out of the way..... and that starter is now giving me problems... and it has a life time warente so it is comming out

If its anything like a grand prix then it isnt easy, but I did it without taking out any anything except a couple of shields and the starter of course. I took off the wiring and shields. I also unbolted the starter from the engine. I found out that there is just enough space to fit it between the engine and the ac plumbing, but it is pretty tough to fit through there but at least it didnt involve taking out anything. To put the new starter in just put the process in reverse.1995 3.4 DOHC Grand Prix gtp
