When do you hear the noise? When driving? When you first turn key to "ON" position? ONly when braking? accelerating? Idle?

        humming

A couple possibilities if it is when the car is running, fuel pump malfunctioning. A hole in your exaust that could be below your fuel tank and or spare tire trunk compartment. The sound could resonate causing parts to vibrate, causing the hum within your trunk.

Do you have the Stock Bose Amp mounted inside top of trunk? Some do and some don't if you don't have the Stock Bose sound system.

mine hums also. (well it did back when the trunk closed) I had the bose amp, and it stopped when i pushed the trunk down. I just assumed it was some sort of pressurization thing. Air leaking out of the trunk or something...
