hey this can be my intro post to. I was looking at a 93 Z34, needs a new timing belt. as well, it also has 300 000 kilometers on it. I have the tools needed to rebuild teh enging, my shop teacher will help (17 yo) with everything, and i have to rebuild an engine anyway. Just wondering how much work would go into this and the cost.

If you are going to rebuild the motor, with all new parts, you are looking at 1000 bucks easily. You could spend more, or try to find some good used parts to go cheaper. If you are just going to do the timing belt, that will cost you about 250 in parts.

should i go withj alll new parts? or should i judge when i take the motor apart and see how it is
