  • rear main seal install Q

I don't have the installer tool, so....
does the rear seal butt up against the block? Like, do I push it in as much as possible or is there some space. There is a notch in the block, do I install to that depth? Currently I have it installed as much as possible but would like some info before I torque down.

Also, on the subject of Torque: is anybody actually using the torque angle meter or do you just 'eye' it.

    Thanks
