Knock Sensor

Anyone ever change a knock sensor on one of these? How the hell are you supposed to get at it? I accidentaly broke the original while pulling the motor, and forgot about it until after I already had it back in.
I really do not want to have to remove the head again, or the rear manifold for that matter. Any help is appreciated.

Do you have an auto? I know with the 5 speed it's easy to get to from under the car.

No, its an auto. I finally got it, took about two hours, could noly get the wrench on to make about a thirs turn at a time, but I got 'er
