Does anyone know of a place that has vacuum in kits for the 3.4l DOHC engine. I know the hard lines get a lot of heat and get brittle over time. I want to get away from those. Do the silicone lines out there take the heat? Especially on top of the engine under the plenum where the lines go to the fuel pressure regulator. I haven't done a through look over to see what it needs because I can't push the car uphill into the garage yet.

Vacuum line kit?

I bought some silicone vacuum hose once upon a time. Very thick-walled, obnoxious bright red. I used it here and there, but I wouldn't replace the entire vacuum plumbing with it.
I just use a two-inch piece of vacuum hose to splice the hard-plastic stuff together where it breaks.^ some people may call this guy an asshole at times, but he isn't wrong very often -- Robert
