I *attempted* the O2 sensor last nite, and tryed gettin it from top with a deep dish socket with a slit for wire. Long story short, many broke vaccumm lines and clips and original sensor still there.
HOWEVER .. I pulled the EGR off the tube .. and the gaskets and bottom plate of EGR and the intake hole was wet with water with an oil color and smell .. I think its safe to say that the EGR dont even work, because when you do O2 sensors, the car must be warm .. and from driving, it shoulda at least steamed off ..
But what possiblity of oil/water in that area be?
The cars got over 195k miles on it and burns oil.
Any ideas are great,
Thanks
