  • New Parts Question

I am looking for some new parts....

Is there a vaccuum line 'kit', I guess only available from the dealer b/c I couldn't find it online...what about price.

How much should I expect to pay for pistons .02 overbore

    Rings, any suggestions?

    Thanks

Vacuum lines are probably dealer only, or make your own with rubber vacuum hose. No idea on pistons, haven't checked for stock replacements but TRW makes them. Rings, total seal work, otherwise you can get a set of GM rings for .040 over off ebay for 36 bucks.

        Hello All

TRW= Thompson-Raymo-Woolrich, it was Company that was a major player in the early days of the space race, I.E. the 60's and has deversified greatly since then.

The plastic vaccum tubing can probably be obtained from any parts store that sells air brake tubing for H.D. Trucks. they use a 1/8" plastic tube for manual transmission shifter air controls. The O.D. might be a little off, I am not quite sure on that at this time, take a sample with you so that they can measure it for sure. It can be warmed with a hair dryer and formed, if you are very careful so as to not to get it TOO hot, and glue it into the rubber nipples with a good "clear" glue.

        Hope this helps
