  • MAP Sensor location???

OK, dumb question, but I just bought a new MAP sensor to replace my old one on a 94 GTP. But I can't find it's location :P
Where the heck is this thing??????????

Should be on your firewall, has a vaccum line connected to it. And some wires. Upper right photo....
If you are driving a Chevy, everything else, is just a blur. 3.4 Carbon Footprint.

This is Wierd, because I don't have one on the firewall. I have the 3.4, is it possible they put it in a different location? I even removed the plenum last night, thinking it may be under it, with the fuel pressure regulator.

94 DOHC has MAF, not MAP. My bad, I should have read closer....

pre 94 has a MAP mounted on the side of the plenum by the power steering pump.

I don't think I have the MAF, because I have a IAT in the intake tube.
I don't have anything by the power steering pump. I'm beginning to wonder, if maybe someone has cut the MAP out, I will look for cut wires tonight. I just bought the car.

I have an IAT in the intake tube too....and a MAF sensor between airbox and intake tube.....and I think my 95 has a MAP sensor AND MAF sensor if i recall correctly....my GM service manual makes not of it but the manual isn't handy right now...

I do have a MAF, and also the IAT.
Shouldn't I have a MAP also? Or did 94 not have a MAP?
