Did the lower intakes and now see coolent burning !!!

All,

I did the lower intakes on the 3.4L . Now when i start the engine and it gets a little warm, i smell and see coolent burning on the front exhaust mainfold.

When the car starts the idle is ok, so I guess the lower gaskets are ok.
I also dont see coolent running from the coolent entry in teh manifold, so the rubber ring is in place.

What else am I missing ? Can it be the old coolent left there from when i changed the lowers ? I have had the car on for about an 30 mins since changing the lowers.

you checked the entry on the intake manifold? might be old coolant, see if it goes away and or if you lose any coolant
