  • cold car....

when the car is below operating temps it runs like crap... at WOT it shifts at 5500 and is very slugish, but when it gets up to temp it shifts normal (6500-6900 rpms) what is the reason behind this?

I know a few cars runs like ass when they are cold. It is to make sure the motor isn't running at high rpm when the oil is cold, or doesn't have to deal with hard shifts(WOT at 6500-6900 is hard), when it is cold.

But I am unaware if this is your issue, just a thought. Mine is a bit different than yours, but mine runs the same warm or cold. A bit quicker when cold of course, but nothing really noticable.
