hesitation when cold.....

    hesitation when cold.....

    Ok, when the car is cold i get a hesitation from a stop...jerkes forward then no power it does that only till around 3k rpms....and goes away when car is warmed up......

    So far, what has been done is new headgaskets, acdelco plugs, airfilter, fuel filter, timing belt.....only thing i have not done is plug wires...

    now when car is warmed up off the line power sucks but once it gets 3k+ it wakes up like no other.....

    What else can i check.....ps, when i bought the car it did it even before i did all the other stuff....
    -2000 GTP - 332/426
    -94 GTP - Stock, But needs new:
    Door, Steeringwheel, fender, windshield and window for new door, and power steering line.

    you might want to check to see if the vacuum hose to the fuel regulator has a leak or is not connected

        I had some old dude at dealer tell me hesitation at idle a was due to the o2 sensor not bein warmed up. Because this is not a heated unit..will not be fully warmed to function as it should... Also factor bein LET YOU CAR WARM UP WHEN ITS COLD. Dont know how true it is but seems logical

          just pulling out of the drive way it does, then just babying it it does it
          -2000 GTP - 332/426

            could an old 02 cause it, ok is stock
            and the wires i dont know they look kinda new but been pulled several times now.....

              To me it sounds like your cam timing is off. I had no power under 3K all the time and thats what it was.
