91 z34 vacuum leaks

i need help fixing my z34 i can here a vacuum leak and it sounds like its coming from under the plenum. it also idles really high about 2000 any help would be cool cause i need emission testing now so any quick fixes to make her pass thanks

Sounds like you've got a plenum gasket leak... replace that and the coolant o-ring, and you'll be fine. To make sure that's what it is, take a length of hose to your ear, and probe around for "whooshing". I don't recommend using the intake cleaner as a probe - too dangerous.

Or spray around with Carb spray. If the part that you spray at makes the idle change, then you have found your leak. Also dangerous, so don't put puddles of Carb spray on your engine, lol.
