Anyone know how hard it would be to change the timing belt on the DOHC? Thinking of having it done before it goes, that could mean new engine, right???

depends on what rpm the engine is at when it breaks. if it breaks at a real high rpm it could bend the valves. doesn't mean it will cause the 95 isn't an interference engine but i have heard of the valves getting bent anyway. The Official Rotating Mass Nazi

there the only place that will work on my car. everywhere else says they won't touch it. and besides my appartment's manager won't let me work on my car here. i got fined the last time i did anything to it. they said that it makes the appartments look trashy snd they can't have that.

My dealer (Sunnyvale Chevrolet) only wanted something like $500 for the timing belt. Minus tensioners and pullies.
