depends on what rpm the engine is at when it breaks. if it breaks at a real high rpm it could bend the valves. doesn't mean it will cause the 95 isn't an interference engine but i have heard of the valves getting bent anyway.The Official Rotating Mass Nazi

i'm takin mine to the dealership to have my oil leak fixed. there gonna put new gaskets and vaccume lines and a timing belt, tensioner,and pulleys. and the grand total is ganna be $1500. a bit much but with all the work there doing i'm kinda gettin a deal.

When I did my gaskets I thought about taking it to the dealer but then i seen the step by step procedure for the DOHC right here on this website, it quickly changed my mind. You might want take a look.

there the only place that will work on my car. everywhere else says they won't touch it. and besides my appartment's manager won't let me work on my car here. i got fined the last time i did anything to it. they said that it makes the appartments look trashy snd they can't have that.

My dealer (Sunnyvale Chevrolet) only wanted something like $500 for the timing belt. Minus tensioners and pullies.
