      Bubba81,

Can you tell me what gaskets you replaced in the process of doing the lower intake gasket ?
Also did you fix the o-ring oil leak ? Anyone ? I am going to do the lower intake this weekend, and want to do the o ring leak too...

      thanks

I was going to replace the orings on the fuel injectors but they looked surprisingly good for how old they are. I did'nt have to replace the distributor oring because i have coil packs no distributor

Ok I just finished the job, I replaced the following :

Upper and lower intake gaskets, fuel injector o-rings, egr adaptor and eger valvve gasket.

Did a tune up while i was at it, and JB welded the oil o-ring thing...man i used a lot of JB !

The only this is that the oil oring spins....well it used to not anymore...is that a problem ?

Nah, doesn't matter if it spins. I did the wife's LQ-1 over a year ago and it doesn't spin or leak. That was with the Chevy distributor gasket and hi temp silicone.

Yeah, it's not too bad a job with the correct amount of beer and patience!
