    How is everyone doing?
Anyways im having a problem with my Z...First i stress theres a new exhaust cat back. I got in my car the other morning to go to the store. I noticed smoke coming from under my car. So i pulled into a parking lot. It was 6:00am so it was still dark out. Noticed my converter was orange. Thought at first that the converter was clogged. Well now i find it isnt. Ive been told it's either a fuel injector or a bad coil pack. Well i read the codes this morning. The only code is 12. So im completly missing what it could be.
    Anyone?

Eek .. did you burn out the CAT ? I did the same thing when a coil pack went bad .. only ran on 4 cylinders .. (each coil pack carrys 2 cylinders) .. but if ur coil pack is bad .. u would get real bad gas mileage .. ur dumping raw fuel into exhaust .. and ur car would be real sluggish ..

      Hi,
No got it to the muffler shop. They said the cats fine. I caught it in time...It's a brand new exhaust cat back luckily for me!!! :P But ive been told by a few people that it's defiantly the a coil pack. I called the guy who i bought the car from. Lot's of lifetime parts. The module and all the coil packs are full lifetime!!! So it wont cost me anything.
So i'm pretty defiante on that being the fix. I was worried about it though. Cause no error code's? I thought if a coil pack went then it would show in the ECM...

No sensors for the coil backs and we don't have an O2 sensor for each exhaust port.

Anyways..I fixed the car the other day. New module and 3 new coil packs. Seems to be running fine. It is time for new plugs though. I've put off doing them as long as i can.
