well my engine has a tick that sounds like it's coming from the heads. is it those injectors or could it be the lifters. some input would be great cause this noise is pissin me of!

It's probably the injectors... what year is your car? I know that the 91-95 injectors are LOUD, whereas the 96-97 injectors are MUCH quieter. -

probably the lifters too, they make alot of noise too.

No they all do it once they have miles on them. However as most of us have already, I would STRONGLY advise switching to a fully synthetic oil, preferably Mobil 1. This will reduce the noise a lot, and on my car pretty much eliminated it.
And yes the injectors also click a lot, but I will know for sure how bad once I put the 96 ones in this X-mas. But according to Pocket Rocket, IIRC, the early ones were VERY loud and he said the new ones were soooo much quieter.Comment
