  • Dashboard full of lights

As the heading states, I've got a dash board full of warning lights. I'm about 90% sure I've got a minor soon to be major electrical problem. My low fuel light won't go off, my blinkers don't work, my ABS light is on(DON'T CARE) and now my SES light.
I was on break and decided to find out what all was wrong, so I hooked up a TECH 1, a code 35(idle speed error) and a code 43(ESC failure) registered, along with about a dozen or so ABS codes. My question is, how can I tell if I have an updated memcal, and what would cause the ESC failure(which I believe is screwing with the idle).
I know my car is a POS, but still I'm not getting rid of it. I just put an engine in my Z-24 and am planning on making that my rice killer until I get the GTP right.

Any replies are greatly appreciated (I'm asking here, because I'm embarrassed to ask my mentor who told me to sell it as soon as he learned it had an X motor).

Do that, I'm sure it will help with the Low Fuel and Check Gauges light (if you have it).

The knock sensor could be bad (ESC code). It is on the back of the block. If you have the auto, it is easiest to get to it by taking out the alternator unless you plan on pulling the heads, or the engine out some time soon. If you have the 5 speed, it's cake to get to. As for the idle speed, your IAC could be bad, someone could have turned the idle stop screw on the TB that you aren't supposed to turn, or your intake manifold gaskets could be leaking. You can check the gaskets by spraying around them with carb spray. If the idle changes when you spray them, then they are bad.
