It's only got a 2mp camera, but here are some pics from my phone. The one minus a cooler and filter shows the plug I mentioned previously in place of the nipple for the cooler line (the block is on it's side and the plug would be around the 2 o'clock position normally).

I'm about 95% sure I have one. I removed the LQ1 in my 91 Grand Prix and installed an LX9 - I didn't want to bother with the oil cooler since I run synthetic and don't plan on running the LX9 hard. If I have it I'll take pics and we can work something out.

I'll take a look tonight/this weekend. The bare block is sitting on an engine stand and I'm fairly certain the oil cooler is still on it.

Keep in mind that even Corvettes ditched the oil cooler with the advent of synthetic oil as the factory fill in 92 for the LT1. Not sure if they reimplemented it for the C5 though. Its a good bit of insurance but not necessary.

I did find the Corvette one I have. The coolant in/outs are in different locations.

          $35.00 + shipping

Does anyone know if the 1994/95 blocks even have the provision to connect the cooler lines?

jmgtp: C5's do not have oil coolers either. Check if you've got the WP splitter as well.
sspeedstreet: Would that even work on an LQ1?

The block I took a pic of is a 95 crate engine. I'm not sure what year that bare block without the filter is, but that plug is on every 60v6 I've come across. It's normally used as a block drain on cars that didn't have the cooler.

I mis-spoke when I said "different locations". They are in the same locations, but the tubes stick straight down where the LQ1's are a bit longer and are slightly curved (toward the camera in this view). No reason it wouldn't work, physically it's the same as the LQ1. It would just require the hoses to reach a little further.

Looks like I got the whole thing... sorry the pics suck.
Cooler is still on the block and the distribution block on the timing cover.

I can do $40 shipped. It would include the oil cooler, the splitter, the rubber hoses (tho one of the hoses looked cut) and any associated bolts.

Don't forget the nipple in the block that the U shaped hose hooks to on the starter side. He doesn't have that part either.
