Tom....
I just got home and it's LATE!!! AND I'm REAL hungry!!! I think I might be able to dig up a couple of better pics tomorrow....
Here's a working link to the thread about my engine/tranny swap and in pic #6 there is a pretty good shot of the oil cooler.... http://60degreev6.com/forum/showthre...ht=#post341615
That first link does have some good shots. Thanks Walter

Is it just over a foot long? The only thing I can make of it is the transmission oil cooler that lives in the radiator.
Actually I just went to their site and read this:
ACDELCO Part # 52400408 {#52489165} replaces 52489165
COOLER,ENG OIL w/4-SPD AUTO TRANS(M13); RADIATOR
I think they should be a little more clear on that one...

My crate engine did not come with the cooler, but my junk motor had one. Somewhere I came across a pair of NOS hoses a few years back, so I guess they're still out there. If you can't find them, I'm sure that a search at a parts store will find substitutes. I remember the one on the right is a squared "U" shape and that a piece of straight hose will probably fit. The bottom section of the one on the left is more than a 90*, so it may need to be pieced together from a couple of different hoses.
52400408. Says $100.00 plus change for it. I have a Corvette unit, but I think the coolant nipples are in a different orientation. I'll take a look tonight.
