  • DOHC Problem please help

    well i was going home to visit my parents last night and about half way their my car started skipping really bad...... but it would only do it sometines... skip for a while then stop.... when i got off of the interstate i noticed that it did it much much worse at lowere rpms... so today i was trying to see what was wrong so i started by pulling out the wires to look at them..... one of them the end was seperated on....... ok problem solved ... i bought a new pair...... car runs much much much better but now sometimes it will still skip at around 2500 to 3000... usually when starting off under medium acceleration....... any body have ant ideas....... and oh yea u can get 8mm super stock plug wires coustm made for the dohc..... they have the same boots as the orginals....... at parts america.com.... they r made by accel... mine should be here in a week or so...... oh yea i have fariley new plugs and coils on the car.... less than 5000 miles easy........... .i have high energy coils from jegs on it... .and AC rapid fire plugs

    Are they Accel coil packs?

      no they r the jegs DSI coil packs.... i have hurd about the problems with the accel packs

        i got it fixed... it was a bad ignition module
