Will the monte carlo z34 alternators fit the 92 lumina z34?

Any 3.4 DOHC alternator should swap between model lines physically. Not sure if the connector on the back changed any from 91-97, though. Check part # vs part # at the parts store to be sure.

The connector on the back changed in the later years. I want to say it happened in 1994-95 when they went to the OBDI.5.

I've got a remanufactured alternator that will fit your 92 Z34 for sale in the buy/sell section of the forum for $50 total (no additional for shipping). It has an overdrive pulley on it, meaning it spins the alternator a little faster for better output at idle speeds. I can put a regular sized pulley on there if you like.
