    Question : 95 monte w/ 3.4 DOHC. where does this connector go

    1995 Monte Carlo 3.4...
    just bought this car and just noticed that this connector isn't plugged into anything.. can't find where it goes and what it might be for??? see pic.. TIA

    No where If i remember correctly. i have an extra one as well. i think its a diag plug to jump an accessory or something. you will find a few of them randomly.

      The plug doesnt go to anything. Mine is just taped to the other wires out of the way.

        that's for the optional magnasteer variable power steering pump. If you're not equipped with it, just tuck it out of the way. Shouldn't have any power going to it anyway.

          None on the 96 or 97 harneses just the variable power steering pump.

          96 Z34 3.4 SC DOHC Getrag, 284 5sd manual transmission, stage 3spec clutch, 97 engine, 97 pcm, S3 intercooler 1 of 1 Roots SC LQ1 in the world 8.5 psi.
