I assume your refering to the Throttle Possition Sensor.... Sensor
the TPS is right on the side of the intake manifold on the other side of the TB to where the throttle cables connect. IIRC they are 2 smaller torques screw holding it in. not hard to do.
you can kind of see it in this pic.... The sensor on the top is the IAC the one just below it to the right is the TPS.
2 screws holding it in

The throttle shaft will actually be D-shaped at the end, and the inside of the TPS is also D-shaped. Therefore, the TPS will only fit one way. There is probably 1 tab on it, which will fit a hole in the TB to otherwise line it up.
But, it really is just an undo and replace. If you can change the oil in your car, you can swap out the TPS.

With most throttle bodies, the TPS will be directly on the other side.
Hell if you can change wiper blades, then a TPS is not half as difficult.
Just make sure that it is the actual bad component, cause other problems can cause the ECM to think the TPS is bad.1994 Grand Prix GTP 3.4 DOHC

All went well with the tps install, currently the problems are when after car gets hot and shutdown go to restart the battery is dead, starts with a boost then it bogs like starving for fuel. When running cold to operating temp lots of power, have checked all fuses all good, checked volts at battery 12-13 not running 14-15 running, can hear the fuel pump buzz when key is on on position, been told could be egr?,also where is the fuel pressure regulator located. Thanks Guys.

i would put a Fuel pressure gauge on the rail when it acts up, also if you pull the vac line off the FPR and see if its pissing out gas in the FPR. if the battery is dead when it dies then i doubt its a fuel problem but always good to check fuel and spark. pull egr and clean it... seen it do funny stuff but wont think that is the problem. The FPR is under the intake manifold.... you will see it on the rail, i did a '96 intake swap so my fpr is in a different location.

Thanks Redz, already cleaned the egr, dont have a fp gage, can i see the fpr without pulling the intake?,also where is the map sensor it near the firewall with a elictrical plug and 2 vac lines? As for the car needing a boost after getting hot any ideas, when cold i can star the car at least 10 times with no problems.

I will look at my old fuel rail and see where it is located... IIRC the FPR is under the intake manifold you MAY be able to see it but cant access it. if its a 1995 then you have a MAF and NO map. I think you are refering to the Evap sollinoid (couple wires and couple vac lines on the back side of intake between firewall). Honestly it could be many things.... just need to start eliminating... when my fuel pump was going out it would fail when hot work when cold. parts store may rent a guage if not they are cheap to buy.

I would also check your battery cables for corrosion in the insulation. Also have you had the battery load tested?-60v6's 2nd Jon M.
