  • Possible Bad Sensor

    Hi all,

Haven't been here for a visit in a few years time.
My Z34 has been parked since '06.

Anyways, Just getting the beast back on the road.
Well I did all of the usual plugs, wires, clean-out.
Now I can't get it to pass Emissions.

I'm figuring it's probably a sensor or two.
Anyways, Here are the Emission Numbers, Let me know what you guys think it might be.
It's failing in the 1,000's over.

    Emissions ASM:
    HC Reading: 2000.0 PPM Limit:114.0
    CO: 1.16% 0.63 Limit:0.63
    NO:1274.4 PPM Limit:796.0%

Could this be an O2 Censor causing this?

nice. glad to hear its back up and running. If its been sitting that long you may want to think about replacing the fuel filter and some fluids.... it gets a little nasty after sitting for a while.

        Thanks Red,

Yeah all liquids were part of my clean-out.
Gave it a good Radiator Flush, Oil and Filter change, Drained the Tranny.

        In the next two months, I found a 3.8L L67 S/C and 4T65E with 50,000.
Pretty much done with this 3.4L.
Also, Moving it over to the Bigger Pontiac Brakes and Suspension.

So I will be good to go.
