not yet, I guess that'll be the next step if I can find a pressure gauge.

Any Auto-Parts store should have Fuel Pressure tester kits available as a loaner/rental item. Usually pay a deposit and get it back when you return it. The fuel pressure will give an indication if there is a problem in the system in general. If there is you can track it down from there, FPR, fuel pump, etc... If you go into my profile and look at posts I've made you'll find more than a couple about just this topic. There's the procedure to test a first gen LQ1, 91--93 fuel system in at least 2 posts... Don't know if a 96 uses the same values tho.... Real tired/just got home and don't have it in me to dig out the Chilton's and check... Hopefully someone knows or can verify that the values are the same between Gens...
Good luck,
Tom....
Check the pressure FOR SURE!!!
At the VERY least you'll know what it ISN'T!!
This should take you right to the post with the testing procedure....

Found the problem last week. One of the wires to the MAF was broken. Now if the dealer would've actually done what I paid them $90 to do, and even taken a look under the hood, they would've known this. Instead I spent over $1500 replacing literally every sensor in the car minus the O2, to fix a WIRE.
