This morning on my way to work, coming off the highway on the offramp my anti-lock brake light came on,brakes work fine fluid is at proper level. After work light was off only to come back on again, thinking could be a sensor issue?where is the sensor located?,can i reset puter by disconnet battery to reset?.Thanks all for your inputs.Tazz

more often than not, it's usually due to the power supply to the EBCM being interrupted, and i believe it gets it's power from the remote boost terminal, so take that apart, expose some fresh metal for the EBCM get power from and check to see if it happens again.

either that or check the MAXI-fuse for it in the underhood electrical center (#2 IIRC) and see if the terminals are corroded or a connection is unstable, or a bad wire, etc, etc...

if you need wiring diagrams, let me know.

the EBCM is the little electronic box on top of the master cylinder. should have a pair of two or three wire connectors sticking out of it. you can't miss it. and the wheel speed sensors are VERY close to the braking hardware. i can post up a few drawings of it if necessary.

CRAP! wrong part. the EBCM is behind the left hand side of the dash.

and a better description of the wheel speed sensors is that they are RIGHT next to the struts.

i could have swore i already posted this...

but from what alldata is saying, it's up in the dash, not the kick panel of the door(unless i'm using the wrong term here...)

if the ABS light is on i would look at the Wheel speed sensors before anything... the fronts are removable and the rears are built into the hubs... everytime my ABS light was on is because of a bad wheel speed sensor..
