This makes absolutely no sense. I am totally baffled. About 3 months ago the timing belt tensioner broke on my 95 Monte Carlo 3.4L DOHC V6. I have been busy so I just recently (yesterday) got around to installing a new one. Car ran fine before the timing skipped. Took everything apart as I have done in the past. Set the crank arrows together, perfectly. The front bank is facing down, the rear bank is facing up. Rotated the motor, checked again, the timing was perfect. Reassembled the engine............ I have fuel, I have spark, I have an engine that freely turns over; NO START, the engine is not even back firing. Its as if the spark plugs are out. Nothing is happening. WTF?
