    I am trying to get the old waterpump out but its not enough clearance to get it out, what do I have to do?

    Remove the coolant recovery tank and it should come out. You can also remove the pulley to gain more clearance.

      I don't think you can get the pump out without removing the pulley first.

        The tank is out and when I pull the pump out its stopped buy the fender and some black box that I'm not sure what it does. It only needs like one more inch of clearance, I don't have to remove the timingbelt cover do I?

          No, you shouldn't have to. That black box (if mounted to the fender) is your ECM (or PCM depending on the year and if it has "fins"). You can move that out of the way for now if that will give you some room to get the water pump out.
