ok i lied a little last night i do fuck up once and a while on my own but never putting parts in in the wrong spot. thats a little below me. BUUUUT hahaha theres always a but. either im retarded or i have a second problem here. i cant seem to get the air out of the system. do i open both bleeders at the same time or one at a time? from cold or while hot? the car doesnt over heat it just sits just under halfway up the temp gauge.

someone suggested a coolant temp sensor, where the hell is that located even? and what would it do with not being able to get the air out of it?

as for the fill procedure? and thanks for all the help. these pics kick ass. -never mind, somehow i missed the first thumbnail

oh and could the coolant temp sensor be the reason i cant get air out of the system? it does build up some pressure. If i go out there now and crack a bleeder open it will hiss, but im not sure if its hissing because its letting air in, or out. lol maybe its letting coolant drop down and causing it to suck air in and its not even pressurized to begin with!! haha fudge this car is a headache

fill/bleed procedure is in the first pic...

as for it sucking air: if the coolant bottle has the correct amount of coolant in it, it will suck that in and not air when it cools down...

the temp sensor wouldn't prevent air from escaping or cause any to be generated.

i have a Stant radiator cap on the MC, has a lever on top to release pressure, cost like 4-5 bucks, that would tell you if its vacuum or pressure, just watch the coolant bottle when you crack it open.

when i let the car sit after i drive it to warm it up i can hear the side bottle bubble every once and a while...
its so dark in my garage i honestly cant see anything in there even when i fill it! lol im used to working in my shop with bright ass lights and work lights too
-i got a brand new rad cap, just in case. no pressure lever on it though

it should be completely cold when you fill it up to the neck, then fill the bottle, then start it, unscrew the bleeders, then follow the rest of the procedure.

ok, now i dont mean to be a smart ass, but you and your other directions are tellin me two things... you added a step 3.5 that was never previously mentioned. lol
bleeders and rad cap open then close bleeders and rad cap all at the same time pretty much? well, one after another after another...
when the bleeders pee out coolant of course, right?

thats for after its been filled to the top of the neck and coolant bottle at proper level... smartass

EDIT: and a full procedure for a 3400, but it should be the same/similar to a 3.4

no. i just eat alot... i probably eat more weight in food in a week than i weigh. im about 165lbs sometimes 160. but i eat like a guy who weighs 260. lol i eat two or three breakfasts, then the same amount of lunches. two suppers and a snack (sometimes two double cheese burgers) before i got to bed. i think i just have worms or something. haha i dunno im kidding. but i seriously eat more than any sane human should.

oh and on to the car. i think it doesnt have enough coolant in the recovery tank. the heat is fine while i drive it (after it pushes the air out. but i remember when it was cooling down i could hear it the recovery tank gurgling... maybe it sucked all the coolant out of it

fill it extra high before you drive it again, if it still sucks everything out, do it again or look for leaks. if it stays high, suck it out(vacuum pump preferably) to normal. if you still think you have an air bubble, we'll talk.

yeah i filled the reserve tank almost all the way up and drove it again, opened up the bleeders and had coolant coming out. no bubble i dont think, but it definitely has enough coolant in it now.

When ever I open a cooling system, I overfill the recovery tank big time on purpose. That way as the people drive their vehicle, it will siphon coolant on its own as it purges air over time. That and I also be sure to tell them to keep a close eye on their coolant level for the first week of driving it.
