      OTC sells the timing belt tools separately as p/n 6045; they're readily available but expensive. Be careful who you buy through, there's a wide range of pricing.

      But, yeah, I got the entire kit of 3.4 DOHC tools from eBay; and while I don't remember the price, it was WAY LESS than buying the OTC 6045 set.

        ive looked at some kits on Egay and found prices ranging from 150 - 500 with conditions ranging from excelent to missing pieces. how the hell do you lose pieces to a specialty tool?

          That's REALLY EASY.

          The guy USING the tools isn't the guy who has to BUY the tools. So "who cares" if I don't put the tools away properly?

          This stuff is coming from closed-down dealerships--or dealerships that are unloading the broken and missing sets 'cause they either don't want to do that work anymore or they've bought new, complete sets.
