havn't thought of that. but if th gear ratio eas changed then the car would have to be tuned for it, and since every thing is good it eathe has or it still has the stock ratio92 LeBaron Convert: Does it run yet? 03 Silverado 2500HD ecsb 4x4 6.0L: dual 3" in/out race "muffler" 2005 Ford Taurus SE 3.0: DD from california

numerically lower. meaning lower cruising RPMs and a theoretically higher top speed at the expense of a little acceleration(assuming traction remained equal)
but being such a small difference, you might never notice it...
going to a 2.84(?) or 3.73 setup would be QUITE different though...
EDIT: the tallest gear i could find (stock) in a 4t60e is a 2.73.... used in certain 4.9 caddysLast edited by robertisaar; 08-27-2009, 01:06 AM.

the diffrence was the '82 was fast lol had a solid lifter small block oldsmobile 350 under the hood from a 69 cutless it dynoed 298 rwhp and 320ft-lbs rwtq. the 2.2x just bogged the car so mutch.92 LeBaron Convert: Does it run yet? 03 Silverado 2500HD ecsb 4x4 6.0L: dual 3" in/out race "muffler" 2005 Ford Taurus SE 3.0: DD from california
