  • Question : plug to coil?

Replaced timing belt in 3.4L DOHC: Set timing with crank 360 straight up, all flats up, tightened down rear cam turned front cams flats down. At this point rear cams flats up and front flats down, crank at 180. installed belt. Need to know exactly how pistons go to coils. Where is #1 and #2 piston. Please tell me according to looking at the vehicle from the very front. Also need coil order reading from left to right passenger to driver looking from front of vehicle. I have read forums showing:

    firewall
    135
    246
    front of vehicle

    1_4 6_3 2_5

I have tried this way and will not start.
    please help

36 and 63 is all the same. It just shares that plug and fires both at the same time.

Your cam timing is totally fucked. Check the link in your other thread. You NEVER rotate the crank 180 degrees to set anything. It is never at 6 or 12 o clock to set anything.

Watch you don't try to keep starting it!!!

Did you loosen the Cam gears when you had the cams tightened down (flats up front and rear) with the balance on the timing cover mark and firing on #1 when you put the belt on?
