  • Oil leak, O-Ring ???

Ok so I got a 3.4 with some oil probs, no suprise there. The motor leaks and burns oil like a mutha. I do not exactly know where its leaking oil yet, I have not yet been able to get under the car without a lift. Also, when I pull out the spark plugs, they are drenched in oil. Bad oil rings or valve guides I would think. Anyways, I've been reading alot about some O-Ring going bad. Where is it and what does it do? I got an open slot on a lift in a few days and just wondering where I should find this thing. Also, is there anything you can do about the oil on the plugs without doing a complete overhaul? Any advice would be appreciated...

    Thanks

The oil on your plugs is probably the valve cover gaskets (most likely the o-rings for the plug holes)...worst case scenario that gasket between the actual head and cam carrier assembly (But I doubt it).

The Dis O-ring is under the rear head on the drivers side, also there is a cover in the valley under the intake that can leak.
