Hello, I am a newbie to this forum, I have spent some time on W-Body.com.
I own a 1995 Cutlass Vert with the LQ1.
I put the car in storage last winter and when I took it out this spring, everything was fine, it started well, etc. however,
after a couple of short runs, it started missing and I found that plug # 2
tube well had filled up with oil and was leaking out the top of the tube.
What is a likely cause? Could it just be the valve cover "O" ring or is it more
likely to be the carrier gasket?
Anyone that can share their experience with this problem and what was done to correct it would be greatly appreciated.
I am able to do simple repairs on my own, however, if it is something like the carrier gasket, then I will have to take the car to a shop.
