  • valve covers on a 95 dohc lumina

Where are the valve covers located and how hard to replce gaskets.

the front valve cover is right on the top front of the engine.. its cake to replace.. the rear valve cover is under the intake manifold so you need to remove the upper intake manifold. its easy just takes a little time if you have never done it. the coolant hose going to the upper intake is probably the hardest part to unhook and if you have a long pair of needle nose its pretty easy. a few 10mm bolts, couple hose clamps, couple vac lines and its out.

no offence or any thing, but just cut the frickin hose and replace it.nothing wrong about putting new hoses on a car that is probably 10 years or older.
besides that, that hose is a pain in the rear to disconnect
