  • Question : please help

i messed up my throttle body shaft and i cant find an upper intake for my 92 z34.so i was wondering if any other throttle bodies will have the same parts?
o can i easily customize it by welding on a bigger throttle body?

plz,im very desperate as i cant find a upper any were

91-93 are all the same; you can remove the throttle plate and shaft from the plenum but need the parts. Your better off just replacing the whole thing rather than pulling it out. So you'll have to hit a junkyard. What were you doing that caused damage to your own unit??

the reason i stripped it was to polish out the upper intake, when i took it apart i twisted the shaft.
but my father in law and i actually straightend it last night, and it worked
so far...not sure if it will until i put the upper back on but it looks good.

as for replacing the upper with a used one.cant find any were(locally)
      i cant find a international,grandprix,or a lumina with a 3.4 any were around here.

      thanx for replying

If it was twisted and you straighteed it the shaft is likely still bent?? if i is don't expect it to line up properly. if it doesn't your car won't idle properly. tps will say it is at idle but the rpm will be higher if leaking past the tb plate. could throw a code.
