Replaced my alternator harness today off a junkyard donor. My old harness had a bad solder joint right at the plug from the previous owner. I tested the harness with the car started and A/C on and got no reading on the voltmeter. Was wondering if the harness will put any signal out before it's plugged in to the compressor. I need to blow the connector socket out and clean it (dirty) before I plug it in. Just thought it would show something. AC used to work before wire fell off.
