Sure goto a part store and ask for a belt that is for a NON-AC equipped Z.

Someone knows the part number, I just ask the sales guys that often don't know what I am talking about

all z34's came with ac. and due to how the water pump is i don't think u can run a belt with out a pulley there

Maybe you could get the same diameter pulley for your water pump. The grooved type of pulley. If you could do this and get a shorter belt you would be laughing.

If you did find a grooved water pump pulley you would then need to find a reverse flow water pump. Easiest way would be to fashon up an idler pulley to replace the AC compressor.

Now that's an idea worth exploring, especially if you have an aftermarket stereo system. 2 small alternators is definatily better that one big one.

Definitly an awesome idea I would have to see into that...

I swear someone has replaced the AC belt with a smaller one....

Even if you replace the alt in that spot you would have to still get a smaller belt.

If you could put an alt in the front of the engine why keep the PIA in the back..I wonder if there is room for an AC copm in the back???
