you might as well pull the tranny with the engine, it would be faster than trying to work around it , if its even possible, with the input shaft sticking in the clutch it might be to long to fully seperate them. it would be easier by far to pull the trans with the engine.

I would second that. Separating the two on the floor will probably be easier then doing it in the car.

if you show me a random bolt i will know where it goes, i know all the sizes and tools to have ready before even starting the job and know the size of every bolt without having to look at it.
I know how you feel, lol. And I haven't had to do anything to my car in a long time O.o

          Its out!!!

It came out the top. Just had to give it some angle and the best thing was I needed no help to do it. It was very easy.....all things considering....THANKS JON as always. Make sure you keep feeding that cat so that its head gets even bigger!!!!i'll try to get some pics of the damage.

BTW My a/c compressor was attached and I cleared the ABS Modulator. I un seated the axles, I didnt even have to pull then out at all. Compared to the auto I dont have the break open the bell housing nor do have to undo a torque converter.. that saves some time right there...

            PICZ MAN!!!!!

Ok an access cover fell off and was grinding into the pressure plate. So that was my huge leak......the input shaft seal looks old but seems to get holding...I will change it regardless and shore up that cover with some engine paint an grey RTV... Clutch is worn, flywheel is pretty damn good..pressure plate the same. Throw out bearing is kinda rough. trans mount is partialy torn...Would really like to get another one of these if anyone has one.

WHAT A MESS! Well that would explain all your oil leaks.......your pan is probably fine haha. what holds that cover on there? A press fit? Time to get out the JB weld.......

You got to that clutch just in time....that thing is toast I can see the worn rivets from here.....anymore wear on that thing and your flywheel would be screaming uncle. Good luck buddy, I might be able to come down to say hi this weekend.....if my turbo is back from the builder.

Car is completed, short of a hyperactive oil pressure gauge and a leaky HVAC vacuum system, everythings works. The clutch is just a bit grabby but i'll get used to it. All reminants of the A.I.R. pump have been removed..since it doesn't work and I cant get parts to fix it...Thanks Ken for helping me install the drivetrain.
