  • Getting ready to do timing job....

And as this is my first 3.4 adventure I want to get it right.
Read the tutorial and pretty sure I have it well under control.
My question is is there a preferred belt/idler mfg that is best.
My background in Mitsu 4G63T engines had lead me to trust only OEM parts due to the vast amount of aftermarket components being junk.

    Would this be ok??

Gates is fine as far as I know. Dayco is the other brand.

I used an AC DELCO timing belt kit that I got from RockAuto for only $126.79

      Genuine GM parts FTW.
