    Any idea what caused it?

    92 ASC GTP - 3.4 5sp, HUD, DIC, AQ9's
    88 Fiero GTs - L32 3.4 5sp & ZZ430 5.7 SBC V8 5sp (the twins) L32 -> LQ1 swap is underway

          to make a long story short, it was abused, the valve snapped in half, (im guessing it was timing) leaving the top valve stem still in tact with the spring. the lower valve was hitting the piston.and eventually snapped. not a pretty sight, but im going to tha machine ship tomorrow to pick up the piston and take a pic of the head, this will be good for other to see it here. bottom line is, the past owner bet the crap out of it (asshole). as much as they may be a high maintanence engine to look after, you can't help but lovem for the power they put out. personally, i love these engines. you take good care of them and they will take care of you. i wish gm still made them, but i can understand why they had to stop production. ($$$)

                true enough my friend, but in this case i knew what i was getting into before i bought it, it is a mint car, its worth fixing, fully loaded, i can enjoy this for years to come, if i wasnt mechanicly inclined, i woudnt of bothered.

                    err sorry i never saw the video. i almost wish i didnt... it made my toes curl and i think i cried a little. that poor poor motor!! hahaha all i could say while watching it was NOOOO STOP SHUT IT OFF!!!! ummm 3400 swap! haha
