What? Your coils are under your front header and the spark plug terminals are on the spark plug boot deep inside the top of the head.

    96 Z34 3.4 SC DOHC Getrag, 284 5sd manual transmission, stage 3spec clutch, 97 engine, 97 pcm, S3 intercooler 1 of 1 Roots SC LQ1 in the world 8.5 psi.

You misunderstood my question. Are 1,3,5 or 2,4,6 on the rear bank of the motor? What number of cylinder goes with eash terminal on the coil pack?

it is 1,3,5 on the back. 2,4,6 on the front. and on the coils it is top row 1,6,2 the bottom row is 4,3,5
Carefull with 2 and 5 they are a little tite and can get mixed up easily.

          top row and bottom row?

all the coil terminals are in 1 row.

if you have gm coilpacks they should be numbered, also there should be a black sticker in your engine bay that denotes the terminals.

          iirc it is 1,4,6,3,2,5.

Cylinders are numbered starting at the front (pulley side). From the front pulley on the motor, the cylinders are 1 2 3 4 5 6 alternating banks, starting at the bank closest to the front of the motor. Note that this is true for all engines.

rear bank from pulley side: 1,3,5

front bank from pulley side: 2,4,6

same thing as series8217 said just a little simplified.
