I have this gas smell inside my car. I looked around the engine bay, found no leaking lines, or what not. I looked in theback and all the hoses are connected. I am thinking its the canister purge tank, could this be the problem?

check the metal lines for rust under the car, also check the tank.. i know on the Jbodies the tops of the tanks rust out.

If you live in a northern climate, my first geuss woud be a few small holes rusted through the top of the tank. The salt just kind of collects and sits on top of them. Your filler neck may also have a small hole in it.
