  • keep popping vacuum lines; also suspect bad ignition wires

I bought a vacuum gauge and notice very bad vacuum....fixed some vacuum lin es and vacuum gauge reads perfect...everytime i floor it, however, the line that comes from under the engine, around the lowerintake and into the 1st plug of the MAP sensor pops loose and also the line for the A/C around the otherside of the MAP sensor...why could this be?

Also, I suspect my $20 spark plug wires from Autozone are cuasing some idleing problems....could this be true?

I've zip tied a few but I find that tiny hose clamps work better. I've had them pop off for seemingly no reason as well. I used to have the $20 autozone wires, they would last about 3 months before I'd encounter a bad skip at idle and an occassional miss at high rpm. I just warrantied them out probably 5 times before I go tired of changing wires and built a set out of MSD wire. Have had the MSDs for ~2yrs no problems yet.
